OCCUPIED PALETINE  - Yesterday’s israeli regime-sanctioned pogrom in the West Bank

village of Tel (near Nablus) has shattered the diplomatic pretexts used by Western

governments to cover for ethnic cleansing and genocide. Armed Israeli settlers operating

alongside Israeli military forces invaded Palestinian land, torched homes and cars, and

executed four young Palestinians from the Ramadan family.

For over 1,000 days, Western capitals have repeated manufactured propaganda about

"self-defense" and "counterterrorism" to rationalize israel’s ongoing genocide of the

Palestinian people in Gaza and the total destruction of civilian life. In the West Bank, no

such pretext exists, yet the world continues to watch in shameful silence as the ethnic

cleansing of Palestinian people continues, with complicity and funding of so many of the

countries and leaders remaining silent.

Tel is located in the Nablus governorate, within Area A, territory explicitly designated under

international protocols as off-limits to Israeli forces and civilians. What occurred yesterday

was an invasion by dozens of armed settlers who descended from hilltops to terrorize

Palestinian families, burn property, murder civilians and force indigenous residents off

their land.

The Anatomy of the Media Cover-Up: From "Hikers" to State Terror

In the immediate aftermath of the killings, the iOF apparatus and Western media outlets

immediately circulated a fabricated narrative claiming the armed invaders were merely

"unauthorized hikers" who were suddenly set upon by locals.

This framing is a grotesque, calculated fabrication designed to invert the roles of

perpetrator and victim. Armed, uniformed extremist cadres do not conduct peaceful

recreational hikes into Palestinian villages at dawn carrying military-issue weapons and

torches. The claim that armed forces were simply responding to protect lost tourists is an

absurd cover for a coordinated raid.

When Palestinian residents defended their homes and families near the village mosque,

military forces intervened not to restrain the aggressors, but to open fire on the village,

killing four brothers and cousins from the Ramadan family: Farouk, Ibrahim, Jawad, and

Imran—and critically wounding several others. The violence in the West Bank is escalating continuously with the highest number of Palestinian child murders by Israelis in decades,
and Israeli "settlers" continue to terrorise residents in Nablus around the clock.
This propaganda line exposes the total moral decay of Western media and government
institutions that parrot state press releases without question while ignoring video
evidence of armed militias moving house to house under military escort.
Accelerated Annexation Under the Smoke of "De-Escalation"
The assault on Tel is the direct consequence of a continuous, 78-year project of land theft
that has accelerated at a terrifying rate. Since the implementation of the October 2025
“ceasefire,” while Western diplomats applauded supposed lulls in major bombardments,
the israeli government quietly fast-tracked the annexation of the West Bank. The
post-ceasefire period has seen a record surge in illegal outpost authorizations, military
land seizures, and state-backed arson campaigns across the Nablus governorate and
beyond.
The distinction manufactured by Western political leaders between "extremist settlers"
and the "moderate state" is a deliberate lie. The armed individuals invading Tel travel on
state-paved roads, collect funds from state-subsidized networks, and carry out executions
while Israeli soldiers stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them. The settlement and the state
are a single, unified machinery.
Furthermore,the armed settlers operating with total impunity hold passports, maintain
legal residency, and raise tax-deductible funds in Western nations, including the United
States, Canada, and European Union member states. Western governments are actively
shielding their own dual citizens from prosecution while they participate in extrajudicial
violence and land theft abroad.
The Immediate Demand: Sanctions, Isolation, and Total
Accountability
What happened in Tel is not separate from the genocide in Gaza nor the decades-long
ethnic cleansing that has been prevalent in the west bank; it is the exact same program of
erasure operating on a parallel track. From the turned-over rubble of North Gaza to the
burning olive groves of Nablus, the objective has remained identical since 1948: displace
the population, destroy their homes, and seize the land.
The Global Sumud Flotilla demands an immediate end to international complicity and
calls for direct, punitive action against the state apparatus and its enforcement arms:
1) An immediate, total, and unconditional global arms embargo on all military
hardware, dual-use technology, and security transfers as well as all funding to the
state of Israel and the terrorist settlers.
2) Comprehensive international sanctions, diplomatic isolation, and the immediate
freezing of financial networks that fund illegal settlement infrastructure and armed outposts.
3) The immediate criminal prosecution by Western governments of their own citizens

and dual nationals participating in armed raids, land seizures, or war crimes in

occupied Palestinian territory.

When Governments are silent, it is the responsibility of people - journalists, citizens,

medical staff, all who have a voice to rise together and demand accountability. The Nakba

did not end in 1948, and yesterday in Tel proved that the mask is completely off. The global

public can see the reality livestreamed in high definition, and no amount of media spin

about "hiking trips" can wash the blood from the hands of those who fund, arm, and

protect this system.
