Who Are We?

We are a collective of individuals and organizations that emerged to denounce and stop the occupation, apartheid, and genocide in Palestine. We are independent of any partisan political group. We believe in international solidarity and the power of the people to transform the world in a non-violent manner.

At the beginning of 2026, we formed as Global Sumud Flotilla Uruguay, joining global efforts to halt the harassment and blockade of the Palestinian people. Similarly, we have joined the support for the Cuban people—victims of an extensive and illegal blockade—through the Nuestra América Convoy. We support and stand in solidarity with all peoples besieged by imperialism and colonization, believing that a more just and humane world is possible and opposing any form of oppression.

What Do We Do?

We organize into coordinated working groups that provide support for Global Sumud Flotilla missions. In addition, we actively participate in missions, such as the Spring 2026 Mission currently departing for Gaza.
