Prof. Christos Georgalas

Internationally recognised ENT surgeon specialising in rhinology and skull base surgery; Professor of Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Nicosia and President of the Greek Rhinology Society. As the most cited Greek otolaryngologist and a pioneer of endoscopic skull base surgery in Europe, he has delivered lectures and training in 43 countries and authored over 160 publications with more than 20,000 citations. He strongly believes that medicine cannot and should not be practiced in a vacuum, without acknowledging the social context. He served in Al Quds Hospital with PRCS in 2012 and again in Nasser Hospital in 2025 with MAP, during which the hospital was bombed twice.
